Penggunaan Teka-Teki Bilangan Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Di Kelas IV

Abstrak
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang penggunaan teka-teki bilangan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika di kelas IV merupakan inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran matematika di tingkat dasar. Metode ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan serangkaian kegiatan, termasuk identifikasi kebutuhan di sekolah-sekolah dasar, pengembangan teka-teki bilangan yang sesuai dengan kurikulum, pelatihan bagi guru kelas IV, serta implementasi dan evaluasi hasil dalam konteks pembelajaran sehari-hari. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, meningkatnya minat belajar mereka, serta peningkatan keterampilan mengajar para guru. Kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dengan sekolah-sekolah dasar juga memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Dengan demikian, penggunaan teka-teki bilangan dalam konteks pengabdian ini bukan hanya meningkatkan prestasi akademis siswa, tetapi juga membuka peluang untuk pengembangan pendidikan matematika yang lebih baik di masa depan.

Abstract
Community service regarding the use of number puzzles to improve understanding of mathematical concepts in grade IV is an initiative aimed at improving the quality of mathematics learning at the elementary level. This method is implemented by carrying out a series of activities, including identifying needs in elementary schools, developing number puzzles that are in accordance with the curriculum, training for class IV teachers, as well as implementing and evaluating results in the context of daily learning. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, increased interest in learning, and improved teaching skills of teachers. Collaboration between universities and elementary schools also has a positive impact in developing innovative and effective learning methods. Thus, the use of number puzzles in the context of this service not only improves students' academic achievement, but also opens up opportunities for the development of better mathematics education in the future.
