Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan kesenian tradisional Sunda melalui pelatihan seni pupuh dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP 32 Bandung. Fokus permasalahan yang dikaji meliputi pendekatan dan hasil pelatihan pupuh raehan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian, materi pelatihan terfokus pada pupuh magatru raehan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik yang dapat dilihat dari kekompakan siswa dalam membawakan pupuh magatru raehan dibuktikan dalam penguasaan liri, teknik vokal, pitch countrol, artikulasi, dan ekspresi yang dipertunjukan dalam acara sekolah di SMP 32 Bandung.
