Abstract
A Community Service (PKM) activity themed on the prevention of sexual harassment was conducted on August 2, 2024, at Diakonia Modern Campus. Twenty-five adolescents aged 10-18 years participated in the activity. Through material delivery, group discussions, and role-playing, participants were given a comprehensive understanding of various forms of sexual harassment, their impacts, as well as prevention and handling steps. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and attitudes. Quantitative data analysis showed a significant difference between the participants' pretest and posttest scores (W=17.5; p=0.003), with the average posttest score being higher than the pretest score. This finding indicates that after participating in the activity, participants' understanding of sexual harassment issues increased significantly. Further analysis of each question item on the questionnaire showed that the most significant difference occurred on questions regarding the types of sexual harassment (W=8; P<0.001). This result indicates that before participating in the activity, most participants were not aware that some behaviors they had experienced or witnessed were forms of sexual harassment. The good cooperation with Diakonia Modern Campus enabled the successful implementation of this activity and is expected to serve as a model for similar activities in the future.
