Workshop Steam Early Childhood Education Untuk Guru-Guru Di Tk An-Nizham, Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

Pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa workshop untuk guru taman kanak-kanak dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan STEAM di dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebelum melaksanakan pengabdian, tim terlebih dahulu memberikan angket (open ended questionnaire) yang disebarkan melalui google form. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi pertanyaan tentang proses STEAM di dalam pembelajaran, kendala dan kebutuhan guru, serta saran dan usulan guru terhadap sekolah. Hasil angket terbuka menjadi dasar untuk merancang workshop. Metode yang digunakan adalah workshop dimana peserta terlibat aktif dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang terkait STEAM. Hasil kebutuhan analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memerlukan informasi lebih lanjut mengenai langkah-langkah implementasi STEAM yang berpusat kepada anak seperti pemilihan kegiatan main, media, alat dan bahan serta buku cerita bergambar. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini adalah guru mendapatkan gambaran secara detail tahapan-tahapan STEAM.
