Penguatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Berbasis Pertanian Dan Pelestarian Lingkungan Di Objek Wisata Danau Assa
Abstract
Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) is a form of community service carried out by students through the application of knowledge and skills. This program was conducted in Lembang Turunan, Sangalla’ District, Tana Toraja Regency, under the program entitled “Strengthening the Community Economy through Agriculture and Environmental Conservation at the Assa Lake Tourist Site.” The program was implemented based on the agricultural and tourism potential of the area, as well as problems related to the utilization of agricultural land and the cleanliness of the tourism site. A participatory approach was used, involving students, the Lembang government, Dasawisma groups, and the local community. Activities included land cleaning and planting, assistance in plant maintenance, and community clean-up activities at Danau Assa. The results showed improved land utilization, community skills in plant management, and awareness of cleanliness at the tourism site. The program is expected to be continued independently to support the improvement of the community’s economy and the preservation of Danau Assa
