Pemanfaatan Wisata Sungai Mencerit Dan Sumber Konflik Di Dusun Dasan Sadar Desa Pringgasela
Abstract
Mencerit River Tourism in Pringgasela Village, Pringgasela District, East Lombok Regency, is a natural tourism potential that can support the economic and social activities of local communities. However, its utilization and management may generate different interests among stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the forms of utilization of Mencerit River Tourism and identify potential sources of conflict in its management in Dasan Sadar Hamlet, Pringgasela Village. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that river tourism provides economic and social benefits to the local community; however, differences in interests concerning management, resource access, benefit distribution, environmental cleanliness, and community participation may potentially lead to conflict. Therefore, participatory, transparent, equitable, and environmentally sustainable management is needed to minimize conflict and maximize the benefits of tourism for the local community.
