Pendampingan Belajar Peserta Didik melalui Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata di Lembang Bori Lombongan
Abstract
A learning assistance program was implemented as part of the Community Service Program (KKN) in Lembang Bori Lombongan, Sesean District, North Toraja Regency. The program was based on students’ initial observations of the learning needs of children in the KKN setting. The assistance was conducted from 20 July to 29 August 2026 for six weeks and involved 8 KKN students and 14 elementary school learners in grades III–VI aged 11–14 years. Learners were selected based on initial observations of their learning needs. The program consisted of 12 meetings at the village hall, with each meeting lasting 60 minutes. The learning materials included numeracy and mathematics, Indonesian language, science, and assistance with school assignments. The activities employed peer tutoring, discussion, and direct assistance. During the activities, learners were observed asking questions, participating in discussions, showing enthusiasm, and completing assisted tasks. Evaluation was conducted through tests and observations during the program; however, test scores were not completely documented. Therefore, this article does not claim quantitative improvement in learning outcomes. The results indicate that the program provided additional learning support for learners during the KKN period. Program continuity is recommended through coordination with schools, parents, and the community, as well as more systematic evaluation documentation.
