Budidaya Tanaman Pala (Myristic Argantea Wrab) Sebagai Upaya Sustainability Tanaman Pala Di Kabupaten Fakfak

Pala Papua (Myristica argentea Warb.) merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan pala yang tumbuh diPapua, tanaman buah pala merupaknan komuditas unggulan masyarakat kabupaten fakfak yang dimana mayoritas masyarakat bertani pala, Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah melakukan edukasi budidaya tanaman pala kepada para petani pala dikabupaten fakfak, agar dapat menjaga sustainability tanaman pala kabupaten fakfak, Adapun tahapan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu Survey lokasi dan observasi kebun petani pala, kordinasi team dengan masyarakat petani pala, Perencanaan program aktifitas pengabdian “budidaya tanaman pala”. Implemntasi kegiatan budidaya tanaman pala,Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Dalam pelaksanaan Budidaya Tanaman Pala dilakukan dengan memberi materi kepada petani pala tentang Pemilihan Bibit Unggul Pala, Penangan Hama Pada Tumbuhan Pala serta Jarak Tanam ideal dalam proses budidaya. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini pemahaman akan budidaya tanaman pala dapat dipahami dan di Implemtasikan oleh para petani pala diKabupaten Fakfak.

Papuan nutmeg (Myristica argentea Warb.) is a type of nutmeg plant that grows in Papua. The nutmeg plant is a superior commodity for the people of Fakfak district where the majority of people farm nutmeg. The aim of this service is to provide education on nutmeg cultivation to nutmeg farmers in Fakfak district. , in order to maintain the sustainability of the nutmeg crop in Fakfak district. The stages used in implementing this service are location survey and observation of nutmeg farmers' gardens, team coordination with the nutmeg farming community, planning the service activity program "nutmeg cultivation". Implementation of nutmeg cultivation activities, monitoring and evaluation. The implementation of nutmeg cultivation is carried out by providing material to nutmeg farmers regarding the selection of superior nutmeg seeds, handling pests in nutmeg plants and the ideal planting distance in the cultivation process. It is hoped that with this service activity, the understanding of nutmeg cultivation can be understood and implemented by nutmeg farmers in Fakfak Regency.
