Diversifikasi Pengolahan Biji Karet Menjadi Panganan Ringan Bernilai Ekonomis Pada Ibu-ibu Istri Buruh Perkebunan Karet di Desa Rejomulyo Kab. Lampung Selatan

Hal yang melatarbelakangi dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat kesejahteran ekonomi ibu-ibu para istri penyadap karet di desa Rejomulyo, sementara potensi alam berupa biji karet sangat melimpah. Strategi pengabdian yang dilakukan, meliputi a) melakukan pengumpulan data awal dengan cara melakukan transek, wawancara langsung, dan dan FGD, b) menganalisis rencana aksi serta problem sosial yang terjadi, c) merancang strategi aksi sekaligus memetakan potensi dan asset yang dimiliki, d) membangun jaringan dengan steakholder, e) mengerahkan aksi, f) melakukan evaluasi dan refleksi, dan g) membangun sistem pendukung. Olahan makanan berbahan dasar biji karet yang dibuat, yaitu kue bawang pangsit, kue bulo labu ungu dan kuning, tekwan, kerupuk, until-until, dadar gulung pisang coklat, bugis, kembang goyang, dan kue bola-bola coklat.
